Katharine Hope McPhee (born May 6, 1976) is an American artist, singer and actress. In May of 2006, McPhee placed second on American Idol's fifth season. In 2007, the RCA Records debut album of the same title was released on December 30th, 2007. This album made it into the Billboard 200 at Number 2 with an average of 381,000 sales. The actress starred in Waitress in Broadway in the role of Jenna Hunterson after she left Scorpion in the summer of 2018. From 2019-2020, the songwriter returned to Broadway with the same character.
